Cabarrus Brewing Company (CBC) is Cabarrus County’s largest, and first full-scale craft brewery. Opened in March, 2015, they focus on melding local history, character and traditions with locally produced craft beer. They’re considered one of the greater Charlotte, NC area’s best “destination breweries” with a large facility and an ever-expanding outdoor area with amenities.

Located in Concord’s historic Gibson Mill, the brewery is housed in a building that was once the finished goods warehouse for the Gibson Manufacturing Company/Cannon Mills Plant 6. Their 15 barrel, three vessel brew house is the heart of the facility with the entire production area being visible throughout the large 5,000 square foot tap room. The tap room has an open and expansive bar area, several large TV screens, live music and plenty of ample seating. It’s the perfect place to relax, socialize and enjoy a variety of artfully crafted beers with friends and family. Upstairs, an open mezzanine level overlooks the entire facility which offers a great view looking down into the brewing area. The Mezzanine is available for private events, corporate meetings and special functions of varying sizes.

CBC’s outdoor patio space is accessed through sliding garage doors and expands their tap room significantly into the great outdoors on warm days. In addition to their large covered outdoor patio, they boast the area’s largest outdoor beer garden. It’s always a popular spot during the warmer times of the year.
